The story began in 1963 with the legendary Blaser over and under shotgun rifle, which established our safety concept, the manual cocking system. Further developments culminated in 1995 with a technique that allowed adjoining barrels to behave independently, float and expand freely. Cumbersome side effects, such as the rising point of impact when shooting in succession, now were a thing of the past. These two innovations revolutionized the over and under product range and initiated its two-way expansion:
B 95: Over and under shotgun rifle and Bergstutzen with single lock action. After each shot is fired, the rifle is uncocked again.
B 97: Over and under shotgun rifle, Bergstutzen and double rifle with double lock action. Two firing pins are cocked at the same time and the second shot is ready to fire without re-cocking.
