The youngest winner in the history of the US Open: With an outstanding performance the only 16-year-old F3 shooter David Radulovich placed first at the US Open at the end of June 2009 in Owenton/Kentucky. Apart from the Sporting Nationals in San Antonio/Texas, the US Open is among the most significant and largest shooting events in the US with more than 1000 participants.
David reached an impressive 192 out of 200, not only leaving behind a large number of participants but the most favored top shooters of the US. Since the introduction of the F3 in the US in 2005 this has been the biggest success for Blaser in an American shooting competition to date.
Cory Kruse and Janet McDougall were also very successful with their F3 shotguns. Cory Kruse won the Prelim competition with 97 of 100 and Janet McDougall placed first in the 5-Stand competition in the women's class.
Already prior to the US Open, the F3 shooters proved to be in top form. At the Texas State Shoot mid June where several hundred participants took part, the first three places of the podium were occupied by Blaser F3 shooters: Cory Kruse reached gold outpacing Brian Hughes and Tom Mack. Janet McDougall was also at the top as she placed first in the women's class.
The entire staff at Blaser Germany and Blaser USA would like to congratulate them on their success!
