Four different techniques provide the base for our highly sophisticated engravings: traditional flat engraving, fine Bulino engraving, deep engraving and relief engraving. Opulent pieces show the motif in relief because of its striking three dimensional effect. Continuous relief engraving that extravagantly emphasizes and models the ornamentation is particularly impressive. On the other hand, ornamentation is often flat or feather engraved.
