Elegant companion
The Bockdrilling BD 14 is one of the most versatile rifles and scores highly with its successful combination of tradition and technology.
The large rifle barrel (8x57 IRS/ .308 Win.) is traditionally located under the shotgun barrel (always 20/76), while the small rifle barrel (5.6x52 R/ .222 Rem.) blends harmoniously into the side. This arrangement of the barrels allows for an extremely slim receiver. This makes the Bockdrilling an extremely huntable rifle which also cuts a fine figure when stalking. Thanks to the free-floating barrels, the point of impact remains constant even with follow-up shots, regardless of which barrel is fired first.
The patented vertical block locking system is titanium-nitrided and combines an extremely compact and solid block lockup in a closed system within the monobloc with the comfortable handling of a classic break action rifle.

The double lock allows for a rapid second shot, with the front trigger always releasing the large bullet. The switch is operated by a “blind” switch lever to the right of the locking lever. In the ‘up’ position, the rear trigger fires the shotgun barrel. This means that the BD 14 functions as a O/U rifle-shotgun combination. In the “down” position, it functions as a double-barreled rifle. The Blaser precision triggers with a trigger weight of 650 grams and extremely dry characteristics are a prerequisite for accurate shooting in any hunting situation.
Anyone who has ever hunted with the BD14 knows that this gun is not just a tool, but also an expression of an attitude that meets every hunting challenge with style and confidence.
