Hunting – every day an adventure
Hunting challenges are guaranteed on the 30,000-hectare hunting ground – from exciting stalking to sitting in a hide on one of the countless rocky hills. At Sney Rivier, off-road vehicles are used exclusively for driving to the starting point of the stalk or for recovering game that has been shot. This allows you to experience hunting in its most original form.

Professionally guided
Our hunting guides and trackers do everything they can to ensure your success as a hunter. As experts in the flora and fauna, they can show you many of the special features of Namibia's nature. The focus of the hunt is on stalking oryx, mountain zebra, springbok, white-tailed and blue wildebeest, hartebeest, and warthog. In addition, kudu, eland, impala, waterbuck, blesbok, duiker, leopard, cheetah, caracal, klipspringer, steenbok, baboon, and jackal can also be hunted. Our professional hunters know the hunting area inside out and know where the best opportunities are. A professionally equipped shooting range allows shooting at distances of up to 400 meters.

The finest equipment
Want to travel with as little luggage as possible? No problem, because at Sney Rivier Lodge you can hire modern hunting rifles, first-class optics, and other practical equipment.

Always a good shot
Test shooting is mandatory before the hunt. When using a rental rifle you will become thoroughly familiar with the rifle, so that nothing stands in the way of your hunting success. Shotgun shooters will also get their money's worth if they wish. The specially designed hunting course on the lodge grounds is both varied and challenging.

Biodiversity
The entire region around the Khomas Highlands is characterized by hilly and partly mountainous landscapes and conveys the charm of the Namibian bush. It is famous for its abundance of game and impressive trophies. Thanks to this abundance of game, the territory of the Sney Rivier Lodge is also a preferred hunting ground for leopards. They are extremely secretive, but with a little luck you may be able to observe these big cats hunting.

Rare species
We are particularly proud of our white rhinos, as we support the population with our own conservation program. The nyala and roan antelope are rather rare in southern Africa and very adept at keeping themselves hidden.

The land of endless expanses
Namibia is more than twice the size of Germany. Endless expanses and varied landscapes impress visitors from Europe in particular, as Namibia is sparsely populated and largely unspoiled.
The Sney Rivier Lodge is located just a two-hour drive northwest of Windhoek. In the language of the South West Africans, Rivier means “riverbed.” As it rarely rains in Namibia, the riverbeds are almost always dry. When the long-awaited rain finally comes – usually between February and April – the land blossoms with new greenery.
