One for All

Do you enjoy early stalking of roe deer in early summer as much as a driven hunt for wild boar on a frosty winter's day? Do you dream of a beautiful wooden stock, but still want to be able to track game? And do you need a training rifle in a smaller caliber for the shooting range? With the R8, you are perfectly equipped for all of the situations described above and don't have to switch between two or more hunting rifles. Why? Because you can customize the rifle exactly to your needs.

Advantage of interchangeable barrels: Do you prefer different calibers or want to benefit from new developments such as the 8.5x55 Blaser? With an interchangeable barrel*, you can switch between different calibers in a matter of minutes. All the important features remain the same: trigger, stock dimensions, handling. Thanks to interchangeable barrels, you can hunt successfully with your R8 on every continent and for every type of game.

Advantage of saddle mounting: All barrels are prepared for the original Blaser saddle mounting as standard. This allows you to quickly switch between optics, even between two drives. You can therefore decide on the spot whether you prefer to use a driven hunt riflescope or a red dot sight such as the RD20 – provided that the optics have been sighted in on the barrel in advance.

Advantage stock and system change: If bad weather or difficult terrain is expected, the fine wood stock can be protected and replaced, for example, with the robust plastic stock of the R8 Ultimate and a corresponding receiver.

Advantage for left-handed shooters: Generally, all R8 models are available with an optional left-handed stock and left-handed system. With the Professional 2.0, the stock and pistol grip are even shaped from the outset to fit both left- and right-handed shooters equally well.

*plus a locking chamber and a matching magazine insert if you want to switch between caliber groups, for example from standard to magnum.
