CDS – Copper Deformation Shock
Bleifrei mit maximaler Tiefenwirkung
Robust lead-free bullet for woodland and driven hunting
Its large polymer tip, combined with reinforced wall thickness at the bullet nose, ensures consistent terminal performance. These characteristics make it particularly effective for driven hunts and woodland hunting, where shooting distances are short.
Exceptional stopping power
On impact, the pronounced bullet geometry and the Triple-Hydro-Jet-Tip initiate extremely rapid expansion. Energy is transferred immediately, producing outstanding instant stopping power. This characteristic "shock effect" gives the bullet its name: CDS for Copper Deformation Shock. At the same time, its near-total weight retention ensures deep penetration and reliable through shots.
Optimized for short ranges
The CDS features a rounded bullet profile that, by design, has a relatively high ballistic drag coefficient. This means the bullet decelerates more rapidly in flight, losing velocity and energy faster than more aerodynamically streamlined projectiles.
In the target, however, this characteristic becomes a distinct advantage. The retained energy is transferred quickly, enhancing the pronounced shock effect. As a result, the CDS delivers its full potential at short ranges.
