England is a hidden gem for passionate roe deer hunters. In the counties of Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire, around the historic university city of Oxford, you’ll find well-managed grounds with excellent trophy quality. Hunting is mainly done by stalking, with the option of stand hunting.
The best times are early April to early June and the rut from mid-July to mid-August. During these periods, exceptional roe bucks with antler weights over 500 g can be harvested – a highlight for any trophy hunter. The average is an impressive 350 g.
In addition to roe bucks, muntjac and Chinese water deer can also be hunted – ideally combined in February and March.
You’ll stay in elegant hotels with British charm. The package includes guiding, transfers, trophy preparation and optional rental rifles.
