SEFAG Forestry is Hungary’s largest state hunting area, covering approx. 103,000 ha. Eight forest districts with well-equipped lodges offer top-tier hunting experiences. The hunting areas – including Iharos, Barcs, Zselic, Labod, and Szantod – feature diverse landscapes with 40–80% forest cover. Game includes red, roe, fallow, mouflon, wild boar, and fox. Hunting styles include stalking, stand, and driven hunts. Accommodations range from rustic lodges to comfortable hotels with saunas. The hunts are organized by experienced professional guides who also handle trophy evaluation. Seasons are well-aligned with rutting and migration periods. A highlight is the opportunity to join driven hunts with up to 25 hunters.
