DLC stands for “Diamond-Like Carbon” – a diamond-like carbon that combines the key properties of diamonds: exceptional hardness, high abrasion resistance, and excellent protection against corrosion and environmental influences.
The technology is based on a complex, highly precise process of plasma-assisted chemical vapor deposition (PACVD). In this process, plasma is generated as an energy source that activates gaseous carbon compounds. These compounds are deposited as an extremely thin, uniform layer on the component surface.
With the DLC A+ coating, this technology has been further developed in the Blaser metal laboratory specifically for hunting. We are thus setting new standards in quality and performance.
