Classic hunting in one of Hungary’s most forested regions
The Vérteserdő state forest covers approximately 28,500 hectares, about 80% of which is forested. Located in western Hungary, the grounds offer ideal conditions for stalking, high-seat, and driven hunts. Main game species include red stag, roe buck, fallow deer, mouflon, and wild boar. Hunting seasons vary by species, with rutting periods in autumn being particular highlights. Accommodations range from rustic hunting lodges to the comfortable Malomerdö Pension. Hunts are organized by experienced professional guides who also assist with trophy evaluation.
