The Tölgyfalevél hunting cooperative is located about 15 km south of Zalaegerszeg in a charming, gently rolling landscape with approximately 35% forest cover. Spanning 6,200 hectares, the area is primarily managed for red deer – especially during the rutting season, targeting strong stags with antlers from 6 kg upwards. Hunting methods include stalking and stand hunting. Guests are accommodated at the Barlahida hunting lodge, offering twin rooms and optional half board in a rustic setting. The hunt is organized by experienced professional hunters who also handle trophy evaluation. The hunting season runs from September to February, with the rut in September and October being particularly attractive. This region is ideal for hunters seeking a quiet, authentic experience in a well-managed area.
