Greenland is one of Europe’s last true wildernesses – offering hunters an unforgettable adventure. Hunting for muskox and reindeer takes place in remote areas of West Greenland, partly within UNESCO World Heritage sites.
In autumn (August–October), hunting is done on foot, with hunters carrying their own gear and trophies. It’s physically demanding but highly authentic. Success rates are over 90% for muskox and 98% for reindeer.
In winter (March–April), transport is by snowmobile. Muskox hunting is less physically demanding but equally impressive. Animals are easier to spot due to the lack of hunting pressure.
Accommodation is in tents or rustic cabins with basic meals. Hunts are conducted in small groups with 2:1 guiding.
In addition to big game, arctic fox, ptarmigan and arctic hare can be hunted. The package includes transfers, licenses, guiding and trophy preparation.
