Hunting in southern Mozambique with Mutemba Safaris is a true free-range adventure. The concession consists of wooded savanna with mopane and acacia trees, interspersed with natural pans and waterholes.
Hunting is done on foot – fair chase – guided by an experienced PH, trackers and skinners. The stalk begins early in the morning, often after finding fresh tracks.
Mtimbiri Camp offers comfortable accommodation with four chalets, pool, kitchen and solar power. The safari season runs from April to November, with August to November being best for buffalo.
Included are guiding, accommodation, meals, hunting license, trophy preparation and in-area transfers. Not included are flights, firearm permits, trophy transport and gratuities.
