The crown of the Arctic – polar bear hunting in Nunavut

Polar bear hunting in Nunavut is one of the most demanding and exclusive hunting experiences worldwide. Guided by experienced Inuit, the hunt is conducted in spring by dog sled or in summer/fall by boat or quad.

Success rates are nearly 100%. The hunt ends once the polar bear is harvested – even if on the first day. The trip usually lasts 12–14 days.

Accommodation is in mobile camps, heated cabins or community hotels. The hunt can be combined with walrus, caribou or arctic wolf.

Included in the price are guiding, lodging, meals, trophy preparation, export permits and in-area transfers.
